Creighton Drury

CEO & President

Creighton has dedicated his career to delivering life-changing services and opportunities for children and families. As CEO at Partnership to End Addiction, a national nonprofit organization, he leads a talented team dedicated to bringing an end to the addiction crisis and helping more young people live healthy, successful, addiction-free lives. With deep research expertise, the Partnership provides actionable solutions, resources and tools for parents, families and other motivated stakeholders to prevent substance misuse, treat addiction, and support recovery for our children and loved ones.

Building upon experiences and lessons learned during his 30+ years as a nonprofit executive, government official, attorney, and student-athlete, Creighton brings a point guard’s mentality to producing results through clarity of vision and teamwork. Soon after arriving at the Partnership in January 2018, Creighton successfully negotiated the merger and integration of two storied nonprofit organizations, the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse (CASA) and Partnership for Drug-Free Kids, substantially deepening the organization’s capacity to achieve meaningful results.

Prior to the Partnership, Creighton served as Executive Director for Covenant House New York and Senior Vice President for Covenant House International; Assistant Attorney General and Director of Prevention for the State of New Jersey; Executive Vice President and later President for New Jersey Community Development Corporation; an attorney with the law firm of Lowenstein Sandler; and Assistant State Director for U.S. Senator Bill Bradley.

Creighton received his B.A. in history and political science from Rutgers University, where he was a Henry Rutgers Scholar and captain of the men’s basketball team, and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. He is a proud husband and father of three.
