Cori Hammond, M.P.H.

Senior Research Associate, Science and Technology of Early Prevention (STEP)

Cori Hammond is a senior research associate and project coordinator for Partnership to End Addiction’s Science & Technology of Early Prevention team (STEP). She started her work at the organization on the Choices project—standardizing and pilot testing an evaluation plan for a school-based risk behavior prevention program in Houston, Texas. She currently serves as coordinator for the HELP 2.0 study, which aims to help home-visiting programs in New Jersey address substance use in their clients. The HELP team is designing and testing an anonymous screening and brief intervention tool to help pregnant women and new mothers who may be using or at-risk of using substances. Besides her work in early childhood prevention, her research interests include behavior change messaging and harm reduction access. Cori holds a Masters of Public Health from New York University.
