Catherine graduated from Elon University with a degree in strategic communications, and minors in business administration, psychology and Spanish. Inspired by her grandmother, a Spanish professor, she studied abroad twice in Spain. Catherine also studied in London, where she interned for a boutique PR agency. She now resides in Queens, N.Y. with her husband and daughter, who is named after her home state of Virginia. They love Ecuadorian food (especially bolones and ceviche), road trips and karaoke parties.
