Kaila Packett Sassano

Kaila Packett Sassano leads the organization’s fundraising and development team in their effort to expand and diversify the Partnership to End Addiction’s revenue and funder base with a keen focus on developing and strengthening all types of partnerships. Prior to joining the organization, she was the Director of Strategic Partnerships for United Way of New York City. In that capacity, she worked on a wide variety of public-private partnerships. This included activating corporate leadership initiatives, utilizing their strengths to help ensure New York City’s most vulnerable population had access to basic services. Before making the switch to nonprofit, she spent several years working at the largest employee-owned advertising agency in the U.S., Barkley Inc., and honed her on-air marketing skills at NBC Universal.

Kaila has more than a decade of experience in building strategic relationships and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing and business management from Middle Tennessee State University. Hailing from the volunteer state itself, Tennessee, it was a no-brainer for Kaila to bring her corporate skills into the nonprofit sector to fulfill her passion for helping others.
