The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is now accepting applications for it 2011 Local Funding Partnerships Program, which works with local foundations and grantees to support original and promising projects that can improve the health of vulnerable populations.
“Projects must be new, innovative, collaborative and community-based,” althought significant expansions of existing projects also will be considered, according to the foundation. Projects must be nominated by local foundations, and local partners must acquire dollar-for-dollar matching funds for the project.
Up to $5 million will be awarded for up to 12 matching grants of $200,000 to $500,000 each.
