The Sunflower Foundation is seeking proposals for its Healthcare for Kansans: Finding Solutions for Challenging Times grants, designed to help nonprofit health and human services programs cope with the funding shortfalls posed by the economic downturn.
Kansas-serving 501(c)3 nonprofits may apply for grants; the foundation will give priority to groups that help low-income, uninsured populations and those with special need for mental health, food, counseling, family, and child-welfare services.
Upcoming deadlines for the program are July 28 and Sept. 22. For more details, see the full grant announcement online.
