Funding for Drug Abuse Doctoral Research

    Higher-education institutions may apply for funding from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) that supports doctoral research into drug abuse epidemiology, prevention, treatment, and/or women and sex/gender differences.

    The grants are available to colleges and universities through Jan. 7, 2013, under the NIH Dissertation Award (R36) program.

    Awards of up to $50,000 will be made.
