Drug Policy Alliance Advocacy Grants

The Drug Policy Alliance Network will award $1.4 million in grants to promote alternatives to current drug policy.

Funding will be available through two distinct mechanisms: Promoting Policy Change grants and Rapid Response/Special Opportunities grants. Under the Promoting Policy Change program, grants of up to $50,000 will be made to support drug-policy reform efforts at all levels of government through advocacy, grassroots organizing, and education. Deadline is June 11.

Under the Rapid Response program, which accepts applications on an ongoing basis, a total of $200,000 is available for time-sensitive public-education and advocacy projects centered on drug-policy reform.

Funding is limited to U.S.-based groups and excludes traditional abstinence-only treatment programs. For more details, see the full grant announcement online.
