Community-based anti-drug coalitions currently receiving funding through the Drug-Free Communities (DFC) program have been awarded an additional $60 million by the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP).
A total of 565 coalitions and five mentoring groups received continuation grants. The money is used to engage civic groups and communities in local drug-prevention efforts.
New DFC grantees will be announced later this month.
For a complete list of current grantees, see the DFC website.
