The International Harm Reduction Association (IHRA) will make multiple categories of awards to groups and individuals engaged in harm-reduction activities related to drug use.
The International Rolleston Award will be given to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to reducing harms from psychoactive substances at an international level. The National Rolleston Award will be given to an individual or organization for outstanding contributions to reducing harm from psychoactive substances at the national level in the country that is hosting the annual IHRA conference.
The Carol and Travis Jenkins Award is given to a current or former drug user who has made an outstanding contribution to reducing drug-related harm. The Paolo Pertica Fellowship supports harm-reduction work in prisons and comes with a stipend of up to 10,000 Euros. The Film Festival Award is jointly presented by IHRA and the Burnet Institute in Australia for the best film or documentary at the International Drugs and Harm Reduction Film Festival.
