Community-based nonprofits can apply for grants from the J. Jill Compassion Fund, which supports programs that serve poor and homeless women.
Grants will support a variety of programs that help women achieve self-sufficiency, including those providing job training, education, and housing. Priority will go to programs that have established a relationship with local J. Jill stores.
Deadline for applications is Nov. 30. For full details, see the foundation website.
The foundation is the philanthropic arm of the J. Jill women's apparel company.
