Nonprofits that use (or want to use) the Network for the Improvement of Addiction Treatment (NIATx) model for improving treatment access and retention may apply for funding from the Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati.
Public and private nonprofits that primarily provide treatment services may apply for funding; preference will go to groups that are publicly funded or serve low-income people, serve at least 100 clients annually, and provide services in at least one of Greater Cincinnati's twenty counties.
Grantees will be selected each year between 2010 and 2013, including two in 2010. Grants of up to $100,000 each will be awarded.
The foundation will hold a proposal workshop on Jan. 7, 2010; groups interested in applying must attend.
Proposals are due Feb. 3, 2010.
