The University of California, San Diego, Center for Criminality & Addiction Research, Training & Application (CCARTA) kicks off its 38th annual Summer Clinical Institute with keynote speaker Hamid Ghodse, MD, Director of the United Nations International Narcotic Control Board and Professor of Psychiatry at the University of London.
This 3-day conference, August 4-6, 2009, will also feature Dr. Phaedon Kaloterakis, Assistant Director of Kethea Therapy Center for Dependent Individuals in Greece, as well as renowned US research scientists and clinical experts.
Sessions will focus on science-based strategies on a variety of topics including motivational interviewing, veterans and trauma, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
The conference will be held on the University of California, San Diego campus and the registration fee is $300 — or $250 if you register by June 30, 2009.
