Juvenile Drug Courts Training and Technical Assistance Program Funding

Programs that can help drug courts implement best practices can apply for training and technical assistance grants from the federal Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP).

Grants of up to $1 million will be awarded to schools, nonprofits, for-profit firms, or other entities that can “build the capacity of states, state courts, local courts, units of local government, and Indian tribal governments to maintain, and enhance existing drug courts for substance-abusing juvenile offenders.”

Providers will be expected to deliver training and technical assistance in implementing the 16 Strategies of Effective Juvenile Drug Courts (PDF).
